This research is very important to carry out to find out the various factors that become obstacles for MAN 1 Medan students in learning Arabic and find solutions . This study uses a qualitative method . Research participants were students of MAN 1 Medan. Data collection methods and techniques were in the form of questionnaire distributed to students at MAN 1 Medan and interviews conducted with several students and teachers teaching Arabic subjects . The findings from this research show that students ' difficulties in learning Arabic is influenced by five factors consisting of internal and external factors, namely, first , the students ' lack of memorizing Arabic vocabulary . Second , the lack of student interest in learning Arabic . Third , students come from various different elementary school educational backgrounds . Fourth , the teacher factor , which can be seen from teaching methods that is less attractive and the abilities to manage the class that is not optimal. The study made used of a descriptive survey research design with a sample size of 200 adolescent students from the University of Buea. Questionnaire was to collect the data for the study. The descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data collected from respondents done and presented with the use of simple percentages, tables and figures. The findings of this study revealed that positive emotions positively affect students flourishing in the University Buea. Findings equally unveiled that positive mental health positively affect students flourishing in the University Buea. Findings also showed that being mindful positively affect students flourishing in the University Buea. Lastly, findings revealed that accomplishments positively affect students flourishing in the University Buea. Based on the findings, it was concluded the application of positive psychology positively affect human flourishing in the University of Buea. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes data on errors made by students in the use of tenses , vocabulary, and pronunciation, which are influenced by interference from Indonesian. Data were collected through English tests and interviews with students, then analyzed using the contrastive and error analysis framework. The results show that the main difficulties faced by students lie in the differences in tense structures , errors in vocabulary selection, and pronunciation difficulties influenced by the phonetic habits of Indonesian.
