This article examines the way taken by these new developments, focusing in on epic levels of progress, approaches, and weights. This article figures out the advances in standard language managing (NLP) by taking a gander at the change from rule-based systems to basic learning structures and the enhancements in semantic creation and understanding. It other than mindfully takes a gander at the moral outcomes and expected uses of reproduced data driven text age and understanding. Man-made intellectual ability (replicated data) has made massive strides in standard language managing (NLP), moving from direct rule-based plans to complex basic learning models. All things considered, NLP is ending up being closer to human-like text age and understanding. This paper deftly takes a gander at the jumbled history of NLP developments, revealing key structures, upgrades, and exploring issues. The way towards human-like text age and care is poverty stricken down, starting with rule-set up structures and going in regards to through quantifiable normal language managing and immense learning models. Similarly, the ethical points of view and social eventual outcomes of PC based data driven text age and understanding are dissected, uncovering data into the requirement for solid execution and moving focus on in this rapidly making subject.
Hussein Najm Abd Ali Copyright (c) 2024 BIOS: Jurnal Informatika dan Sains https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/129 Sun, 08 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Design and Development of the HelpDesk Application for the Faculty of Information Technology, Tarumanagara University (FTI UNTAR) using the Agile Scrum Methodology https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/146
At the Faculty of Information Technology, there is currently no structured division of tasks, so the task management process is carried out manually through the WhatsApp application. This causes difficulties in monitoring and completing tasks efficiently, and has the potential to cause confusion and delays. Therefore, a system is needed that can manage tasks and tickets effectively. The general theory discussed in this text covers the basic concepts and principles underlying the research topic, including relevant theories in the chosen field of study as well as methodological approaches. Websites play an important role in presenting interactive web pages for various purposes such as information dissemination, online transactions, communication, entertainment, and education. Websites can be static or dynamic, built using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Systematic helpdesk management helps in resolving user issues efficiently through automated processes and structured communication channels. The Agile Scrum method is applied for agile development in designing a web-based ticketing helpdesk system, focusing on incremental delivery of value through user stories, product backlog management, sprints, and user acceptance testing. Use case scenarios, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams are used for clear system visualization and documentation, ensuring efficient system development to meet user needs.
Alvin Nicolas Gunadi, Dedi Trisnawarman, Manatap Dolok Lauro Copyright (c) 2024 BIOS: Jurnal Informatika dan Sains https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/146 Tue, 26 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Analysis Of Indonesian Daily Test Results Using the C4.5 Decision Tree Algorithm https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/147
This study aims to analyse the results of Indonesian daily tests using the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm in improving the effectiveness of evaluating student learning outcomes. The data used is the daily test results of students of class X SMK Panca Budi in the academic year 2023/2024. The research process involves the stages of data collection, preprocessing to clean the data, and modelling using RapidMiner software. Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm was used to predict grade improvement based on students' STATUS score. The results showed that the higher the STATUS score, the greater the increase in grades obtained by students. This decision tree model can be used to evaluate student progress and provide clearer insights for the development of technology-based learning methods. This research contributes to the utilisation of data mining technology to improve educational evaluation, although the results are limited to a sample of grade X students at SMK Panca Budi. Further research with larger samples and additional variables is expected to provide more representative results.
Bambang Sugito, Nelviony Parhusip, Ibrahim Ibrahim, Maida Indrayani Copyright (c) 2024 BIOS: Jurnal Informatika dan Sains https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/147 Tue, 03 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Data Mining Analysis of the Influence of Social Media on Students' Sleep Hours and GPA Using the Cluster Method https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/148
This study aims to analyze the effect of social media usage and sleep duration on students' Grade Point Average (GPA) using the clustering method in data mining. Social media has become an integral part of students' lives, but excessive use can have a negative impact on sleep time and, indirectly, on academic achievement. Using the clustering method, this study groups students based on their social media usage patterns, sleep hours, and GPA to identify groups with certain characteristics. Data collected from 520 students were analyzed using the K-Means clustering algorithm, which resulted in three main groups: a group with high social media usage and low GPA, a group with a balanced sleep pattern and moderate GPA, and a group with adequate sleep time and high GPA. The results of the analysis showed that students with high social media usage tend to have lower sleep hours and lower GPA than students who have sufficient sleep duration. This study is expected to be a basis for campuses to develop programs to improve student welfare, especially in regulating social media usage and improving sleep quality. The data used in this study uses data from the Kaggle.com platform which provides various types of data worldwide. This research is expected to provide insight for students, lecturers and people with regard to this method.
Ibrahim Ibrahim, Sri Wahyuni Copyright (c) 2024 BIOS: Jurnal Informatika dan Sains https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/148 Tue, 17 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Implementation of Paperless System for Documentation Process Efficiency at PT Everbright https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/150
PT Everbright faces challenges in managing documentation that still relies on a paper-based system, resulting in inefficiencies in storing, searching, and distributing documents. This system also increases operational costs and increases the risk of document loss or damage. Therefore, this study aims to implement a paperless system at PT Everbright to improve the efficiency of the documentation process. By utilizing digital technology, such as document management software and electronic filing systems, companies can reduce dependence on paper, accelerate information access, and optimize internal workflows. This study evaluates the effectiveness of implementing a paperless system in reducing the time required for document searches, minimizing document management errors, and reducing operational costs. The expected results are increased efficiency, reduced costs, and contributions to environmental sustainability through reduced paper use. Thus, the paperless system is expected to provide a solution for PT Everbright to achieve a more efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly documentation process.
Irwan Syahputra, Muhammad Iqbal Copyright (c) 2024 BIOS: Jurnal Informatika dan Sains https://seaninstitute.or.id/bersinar/index.php/bios/article/view/150 Thu, 26 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000
